When the stars align I blog about climate change and sustainability ideas. Here I catalog innovative ideas that I think contribute to a sustainable and authentic lifestyle. I love art, design, technology, and to travel. I love the idea of minimalism and philosophies that discuss creating value so those ideas sneak in here and there.

Ski Free?

If this pixelated yeti gives you the chills you probably are like me and spent many childhood hours in front of a PC monitor tapping faded keys of your keyboard arrows to dodge trees and rocks.

In the original Ski Free game, a lonely skier aims for style points and avoids obstacles as he round from the snow monster. If you crash too many time the yeti would catch up and horrifically gobble you up. Guess what!? A new free online version has been released by Brazilian Mude o Mundo developers. I will give you some time to relive your younger years now... take your time. While I am waiting, I will watch the hilarious video below on what happens when the snow monster can't catch up...

Satisfied? Well if you did take a moment to click away, you learned the difference between the old and new version of our beloved Skifree. Seconds into the game you encounter the yeti, but this time drowning in water. The message "the snow monster is not a real thing, climate change is" appears on the screen. Point made, well played.
