Global Climate Strike
I love a good climate protest (or any protest for that matter), but sometimes it is hard to remember what we are marching, striking, and chanting about. Today I refreshed my vision of the future we are working towards in honor of the Global Climate Strike.
This video is a look into what our future could look like if we act now. And this climate strike is a demand for immediate action from our politicians.
What if we actually pulled off a Green New Deal? What would the future look like? The Intercept presents a film narrated by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and illustrated by Molly Crabapple. Set a couple of decades from now, the film is a flat-out rejection of the idea that a dystopian future is a forgone conclusion.
