What to Wear for a Mother’s Day Photoshoot | Spring Dresses Worth Buying
Every year I do a Mother’s Day photoshoot with my son. It started as a small, quiet tradition and it’s become one of my favorite things we do together. A chance to mark the season, to document this specific version of us, to wear something that feels intentional rather than grabbed off the floor.

A note on fit and styling:
For photoshoots specifically I tend to gravitate toward solid colors or very subtle prints; they read better in photos and keep the focus on the moment rather than the pattern. Flowy silhouettes move beautifully in outdoor light. And whatever you choose, wear it around the house first so you feel like yourself in it, not like you’re wearing a costume.
